This is after she took the risk and drove for a whole 12 hours from Memphis, Tennessee to Newport News, Virginia to meet a man she had met online.

Blissful history

The Atlanta Black Star reports that Alexis made the abrupt road trip because she couldn't bear to wait any longer before meeting her man, Kevin.

Details indicate that the two met via Kevin’s godmother, who saw Alexis on an online dating show on Instagram.

Kevin, 37, soon started commenting on the young entrepreneur's account until she noticed him, opening an avenue for them to start chatting.

The two are said to have started talking on a Friday and by Saturday, he had already booked her a flight for the following Tuesday.

“I couldn’t wait until Tuesday, so I drove all the way to Virginia, all 12 hours and 45 minutes by myself, and I haven’t left since,” Alexis said.

Kevin is Alexis' soulmate

Kevin’s godmother Grace described the boutique owner as "the one,” indicating that she was the perfect choice for the construction worker, who is a father of two.

Grace added that the two have been inseparable since Alexis showed up and signs are that she has no plans of leaving anytime soon.

Arguably, the biggest elephant in the room is the fact that the two have only known each other for a few days.

However, Alexis believes that she's not moving too fast as their intimacy is great, and he’s everything she’s been waiting for since her divorce six months ago.
