Oddity
What they say it smells like: Black pepper, leather, incense, vetiver, amber
What it actually smells like: Someone smoking a cigarette near a Christmas tree in a boozy jazz club.
Final take: Smoky and woody, this is definitely one of the more traditionally masculine scents in the collection. But though the notes suggest a certain heaviness, the scent is actually quite airy and not oppressive.
Rose
What they say it smells like: Rose tea, rose essence, white musk
What it actually smells like: Drinking a tall glass of iced tea near a centerpiece of freshly cut roses.
Final take: Roses can be quite polarizing. In perfume, I often find them to be either too fresh or overwhelmingly powdery. But what this scent has done is water-down the rose note with a big cup of tea and a little bit of musk. It's fresh and feminine, but not the least bit powdery. It smells more like walking into a room with fresh roses rather than sticking one right up your nose. As a rose-perfume hater, I really love this one.
Neroli
What they say it smells like: Neroli, orange flower, pink pepper
What it actually smells like: A really lovely hotel bathroom.
Final take: I don't mean any offense by likening this to a hotel bathroom. Quite the opposite. It has a clean and floral appeal that nobody in the world could hate. Do I want to wear it everyday? Not really. But if you love neroli and crisp citrus notes, then you'll gravitate toward this scent in the collection.

Bergamot
What they say it smells like: Bergamot, ambroz, cashmere wood
What it actually smells like: My boyfriend's sweater on a cold winter day.
Final take: Yum. It's warm and masculine without veering too far into pine tree, smoke, or cheap cologne territory. This is a scent for hot men or women that like to smell like hot men all the time. I really wish smell-o-vision existed for you right now.
Cypress
What they say it smells like: Cypress, geranium, patchouli, vetiver
What it actually smells like: A free-spirited rich kid spending a gap year by yacht-hopping in Santorini.
Final take: It's like every classic perfume note of the mediterranean stuffed into one bottle. The dry down is nice, but a bit reductive. I've smelled others like it before.
Amber
What they say it smells like: Tobacco, saffron, liquid amber, vanilla
What it actually smells like: Flambeed fruit accompanied by a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream.
Final take: I don't typically love a gourmand scent (they can smell elementary or cheap to me), but this one made my mouth water. I am also a little hungry, to be honest. The vanilla is subtle, not saccharine, and brings an undercurrent of sweetness to the otherwise fiery notes.

Encens
What they say it smells like: Black pepper, cistus, myrrh, incense
What it actually smells like: The chic older woman you know who always wears stacks and stacks of vintage rings.
Final take: This is definitely the most unisex scent in the collection. The heart of it is incense, but not so much that it's overpowering. It smells mature and sophisticated with a bohemian twist.
Oud
What they say it smells like: Incense, guaiac wood, ambergris, cistus labdanum
What it actually smells like: Oud and something NSFW.
Final take: Let's just say it's not my favorite. The labdanum and ambergris lend a funky, fleshy element that is just a little too dirty for my taste. But if you're into those kind of notes, then by all means, spray away.
