Professional Background
Dr. Joseph Taylor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from The University of Missouri in Columbia. Dr. Taylor completed a residency in Internal Medicaine at The Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in Anesthesiology at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO. After twenty-six years of private practice, Dr. Taylor chose to return to academic practice to help educate and train the next generation of physicians.
