Professional Background
Dr. Cyrus Munguti is an assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas, Wichita Campus. He is also a hospitalist at both Wesley Medical Center and Ascension Via Christi St Francis, Wichita and has over 19 yrs experience in this field.
Dr. Munguti received his Medical degree from Moi University, Kenya in 2004 and Proceeded to complete Internal Medicine masters degree (US residency equivalent) at the University of Nairobi, Kenya in 2011. He later completed Internal medicine residency at the University of Kansas - Wichita Program in 2018. He also has a Masters degree in Clinical research from University of Kansas, 2023.
Dr. Munguti is recipient of several teaching awards and enjoys bedside teaching to both medical students and residents. He is actively involved in clinical research in general Internal medicine and cardiology.
