With the 4.4 update released on 31st January 2024, HoYoverse is adding two new playable characters to its growing roster, which now features 80 Genshin Impact characters. With the exclusion of Fischl’s night raven, Oz (Ben Pronsky), and the Traveler’s companion, Paimon (Corina Boettger), who’s not playable, an exception was made with Yun Jin, who has two voice actors, one for dialogue and a singing actor, Yang Yang, who provides vocalization in English and Chinese.

In addition, Dainsleif has yet to be added to the game as a playable character despite the character appearing in a World Quest and several Archon Quests. While there isn’t much information about when Dainsleif will finally be playable, the character is voiced by prominent American voice actor Yuri Lowenthal.
